31 Days of Goosebumps: Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb

I went into “The Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb” expecting not to like it and I was right.

It’s about a 12-year-old boy named Gabe. He’s spending his Christmas vacation in Egypt with his parents. They were there for business but his Uncle just so happens to work there too. Gabe ends up exploring the Great Pyramids with his uncle and cousin Sari after Uncle Ben’s (Insert spider man joke here) crew discovers a secret burial chamber (Becuase that’s something you’re allowed to do with your children).
Soon the kids are kidnapped and almost sacrificed in a ritual.
There is magic (Nothing wrong with that but this magic felt out of place), terrible parenting, unbelievable plot points and overall not very relatable. It had good and bad moments but overall it was a disappointing mediocre mess.
2 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book only to children.
